MISIDENTIFICATION

Paul Wingert has confused William Linklater here mentioned with William Thomas Linklater, a man who died at Lake Osnaburgh in Kenora, in Canada's North West Territory, in July 1864 [MyHeritage family trees] but the two are quite different.
