William H. McCaul, 75, prominent Tomah attorney and father of Mrs. A. P. Hayward of this city, died at a Sparta hospital Saturday evening after a 10-day illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Tomah Congregational church.
Mr. McCaul has practiced law in Tomah since 1902. He was active in civic and political affairs, having served several terms as mayor of Tomah, and was widely known in Wisconsin legal circles.
Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Hayward and Miss Catherine [sic] McCaul, at home, and on son, Thomas McCaul, who was associated with him in the law firm of McCaul & McCaul."
