Second Battalion 18 Royal Irish Regiment of Foot Camp Shorncliff - with James and John McKenna James - age 26 - 1835 - Dublin Ireland John - age 22 - 1839 - Drogheda, Ireland (most likely none are directly related)

In 1866 occupation Pokar Maker (I think a "pokar" is a particular type of mule saddlebag used by the Artillery in India). 1866 member of B Bty, 23rd Regt, 13 Div RA. 1868 Dec arrived in Vic from India on Ship: BOMBAY - listed as Sergeant 1873 Occupation Harness Maker.

Margaret Rea's death certificate 10812/1902 TEXT Margaret Rea was shown as a widow.Can't find record of his death in either the Pioneers' or Federation Indexes.A death of a William McKenna in 1889 (2966) in Kyneton appears not to be his as he was shown as being born in Tipperary and not having been married, although the age is compatible. His occupation was shown as tailor, whereas our William was listed in 1873 as a harness maker.CHAN CHAN 04 FEB 2001
