"Miller, William Anderson, 1906-1939 Born at Ōpunake in Taranaki on 22 September 1906. He married Phebe Rosalind Mowbray Whatford on 21 May 1931. William died in an horrific car accident with three others on Great South Road near Papakura in Auckland on 31 January 1939 at the age of 32. The other victims were Elizabeth Maud Williams, Walter Ernest Briggs, and Maurice Bertram Waterton. William was buried in Papakura Cemetery."
