William E. Murphy
June 21, 1922 - September 2, 2011

First Sergeant William E. Murphy – 89, died peacefully at his home in
Boca Raton surrounded by his children and loving wife on September
2nd.

Mr. Murphy was a brewery
worker and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Willie received military honors for combat in the Philippines
during WWII.

He is survived by his wife Emelia, his stepson Barry
Manilow the entertainer, his sons Steven Murphy, Frank Rodriguez and
John Rodriguez, his daughters Janet Rodriguez, Debra Ernst and his son
in law Hank Ernst. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Ashley
Ernst.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday September 6th 2011 from
2-4 & 6-8 pm. Interment will take place at the South Florida National
Cemetery in Lake Worth.
