STINSON NEELY (MATTHEW J., JACKSON, THOMAS I) was born December 25, 1801 in York Co, SC, and died November 18, 1867 in Henderson Co, NC. He married MALINDA DRAKE Abt. 1831. She was born Abt. 1808.

Notes for STINSON NEELY: Stinson's grave found at old Edith Grove Cemetery directly across the road (on the right) from King's Grove Church, on Pace Road, which turns off Highway 64 to the right as you go east from Hendersonville into Edneyville (Henderson Co, NC).

Stinson Neely was the grandfather of John Wesley Neely, father of Thomas John and another Matthew who is buried at old Oak Grove Cemetery in Brevard, NC.
