William Newton, Sr.

Based on dozens of ancestry.com family trees which appear to arrive at the same conclusion, William Newton seems to have had relationships and children with two women simultaneously during overlapping periods of years.

Naturally, this is suspicious and suggests that this profile represents actually two different persons with two different wives, and one of these would come from different parents. Further research is needed to confirm if this is the case and to effect such a correction, as needed.

For the moment, William Newton, with the two simultaneous spouses, is being kept as a single individual, under the same set of parents.
