CHILDREN: Per Estelle Havis: William left his entire estate to his ". . . daughter Elizabeth Chance the wife of William Chance now in North Carolina . . ." except for 3# to a Margett Edge. He may have also had two sons, Henry and John, though no sons were mentioned in his will or estate proceedings. The inventory of WIlliam's estate listed John Oldfield and Eleanor Raley (Rawley?) as next of kin on 18 Dec 1766 in Dorchester Co. John Oldfield's inventory on 22 Sep 1771 also named Elenor Raley as next of kin. Identity of Eleanor Raley is unknown.
