According to Milton Oliver: The Great Migration bios state that Anne Squire Purchase was married to Aquila Purchase until his 1633 death, enroute to America, and that Thomas Oliver came to America (Boston) in 1632. Thus, it is impossible for Thomas and Anne to be having a child together in New Jersey in 1625. Anne Squire Purchase was the 4th wife of Thomas, and, by the time he became "available" in 1635, she was probably 45 or so. He was well over 50. It seems unlikely she bore him any children. The origins of William Oliver need more investigation.
