William Page was born in Brileyhill, Staffordshire, England the son of Thomas Page of Chetton, Shropshire, England and Rachel Millward of Shelsley Beaufamp England. Documentation shows his birth around 1848, however William always used the date 1832 on documents. William Page is the father of William Lee Page (see entry), Rachel Page, Maryann "Polly" Page, Thomas Page, John Page, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Page, and Sarah Ann Page.
William was married to Hannah Kilner Page (see entry). He is buried next to his wife and son William Lee Page, in a grave marked simply with a hand made stone that says Page.
