William Pratt

Family records indicate that this William Pratt (1734-1797) was the son of William Pratt (1677-1748), Memorial Number 91837330. First marriage to Emma Haze (or possibly Hayes); second marriage to Mary Drennan, spinster, about 01-28-1793. Issue:

1. 1. Sarah Pratt b. ca 1756 d. 5-22-1858 aged 102 yrs. M. Rev Cador Gantt b. NC 4-5-1771 d. 12-2-1848. No issue Bur. Little River, Abbe. Co. SC
2. 2. David Pratt, living Abbe. Co. SC 1815. Perhaps a dtr. of Austin Smith (his will Box 83-Pack 2047, Abbe. dated 6-11-1834, prov. 9-1-834. Ext: wife, Abigail Smith and David Pratt Gr dtr., Almina Pratt
3. 3. William Pratt, Jr. - living Woodford Co KY 5-9-1803 chn.
4. 4. Mary Pratt b. ca 1763 d. 1829 m. ca. 1782 Josiah Burton .

William Pratt served in the American Revolutionary War. His militia company of Capt John Norwood under Gen Pikes (Pickens) Brigade fought at the Battle of Pratt's Mill, 96 District SC, on Oct 3, 1781.
