William Eugene Reynolds

W.E.R. was born on the farm of his parents in West Oxford Twp, Ontario., south of the Thames River near Ingersoll. He was a farmer in Petrolia on got in early on the oil boom. in 1866, and owned 16 good producing wells. He also owned the Deluge Well known for being the second largest producer in thofficese Petrolia Field. He came to Detroit in 1900, and travelled for the polk Directory People. He was in California in 1906 when the big earthquake struck. He suffered as a result of that trauma and never regained his health, dying in 1909 in Detroit. His farm was in Enniskillen Twp, Lambton County, Ontario.
