William Richard Henson (wife Margaret Blair) got one of these reservations near Murphy, NC. He later lost it because he let the missionaries build a school (called Valley Town Mission) on it. The library at Murphy have all this history. The site where the mission was has been identified and is a historical site now. Margaret and William Richard didn't go on the Trail of Tears but after William Richard died, she immigrated to Indian Territory. She would have bee close to 80 years old.
