The West Australian Wednesday 14 March 1934
Mr. Elltyd Rosser died in the Geraldton Hospital on March 4 1934. He was 68 years of age, and was born at the Wheel of Fortune Mine, Northampton. His parents, Mr. W. and Mrs. Rachel Rosser, landed in Western Australia from Wales in 1859, travelling by the Emily Mitchell. They proceeded direct to Northampton where they took up mining and later, farming. The body was returned to Northampton on March 5 and the funeral service was conducted in the Methodist Church by Mr W. Crossing.
