There were 3 Absolom Russell of this time period, One was of the William Jr and Anne {"Buckner?"} Russell Family. This William Jr lived on Land in Burnswick-Luenburg-Halifax-Pittsylvania County VA that William Russell settled on near the same time period that John Russell settled on near Cascade Creek adjoining Captain Willliam Bean the Brother in law of John Russell JR. This Absolom Russell was later living in Kentucky.

Another Absolom Russell c/1786- 1813 died War of 1812. Was the son of Major William 1762-1825 & Agnes Russell. The first know public record of this Absolom Russell was recorded in Smith-Jackson-Overton County Tennessee about 1804-06 where Major William Russell and his parents John & Dolly Burleson Russell Jr, were living on Russell Mills Creek near Spring Creek Baptist Church 1800-1807. This Absolom Russell served as County Clerk of Franklin County Tennessee from 1807 til his death in 1813. At the present time its unknown if he was married or had children, This Absolom seblings were Mary Little b1780VA, unproven John c/1782VA., Dicey Wagner b/1784 NC, Captain Wm.Jr 1787. Edmond c/1789 Tn, Margaret Sargent c/1791, & George c/1794TN {of Walt Disney fame with Davy Crockett} Russell
