William Riley Slaton

This is part of my great grandfathers story:
son of Urial Daniel Taylor Slaton & Margaret Louise Frazier. His 1st wife Mollie Belle married 4 July 1886, Marshall Co., AL; 2-3 child died young; He caught his wife with a John Davis. He killed him in an argument. Ran away to Arkansas were he married 2nd wife Martha "Mattie" Cagle they were married 27 August 1895 Monroe Co., AR...... children: John Henry Williams, Della Lucille Williams, Jess Williams; He was caught in Muskogee OK 1909 and returned to Alabama and served prison time in Alabama. But did not serve full time (10 years sentence}, released in January 1911. Prison record show he was married twice, Had 5 children only 2 living which would be Della & Jesse Williams.

     Believe he had two with his first wife Mollie Bell. Who changed her name and moved away because  I guess  of  story being in newspaper.  She  was the one cheating on her husband,  she then remarried a Mr. Quinn.  After Martha died he, Riley  married 3rd wife Mrytle Breashears at Briartown, OK.  Letter from relative said he died during flu epidemic in Weleetka OK. Buried New Hope Cemetery.  I (Annis) did a search and was told the cemetery has disappeared in a pasture as some do.
