William Soule was related to a passenger on the Mayflower
and born before 1700.
NOTE, per Mayflower Society William Soule's wife is only known to be Hannah
(with her maiden name and therefore parents unknown).
They don't acknowledge Hannah Brewster as his spouse.
Hannah Brewster often shows up as his wife though.
In part because several places mention a book by GT Ridlon on the Soule Family:
"The theory that William's wife was Hannah Brewster was (first?) proposed in Ridlon's genealogy of the Soule family, which the Mayflower Society itself used as a reference in its Soule Silver book". (Unsure why the Mayflower society would then reject Hannah Brewster as William Soule's wife?). [That's easy: one part had acceptable evidence and the other part didn't. KP]
The first two volumes (published 1926), plus a volume 3 printed in 1971 are available on microfilm through the Family History Library in Salt Lake City: [1] They might be able to loan them out to local family history libraries.
The book itself is $450.00 on Amazon, however there is a $20.00 CD-Rom also available through Amazon. (Feb 20, 2014)

MAYFLOWER FAMILIES Through Five Generations - HARDING
William was perhaps a twin to George.
ABC-18066 shows 2 marriages for a William SOULE. On ABC-18065, ABC references "note 2" under William SOULE which seems to be the William SOULE on ABC-18066, but there is 2 families, each with it's ownchildren, shown on ABC 18066. ABC was confused on this one and at one point even had both of them with the number 2 and then scratched out the number 2 on both of them. Because of birth dates given for children, I would assume that that Hannah would have been the first wife and the name of the second wife was not then known.
