About William J. Stothart
Will spent his early life in agricultural pursuits.In later years he was employed as a deputy Sheriff. in his teen will secured a job as a mail carrier in order to supplement his father's income. It is remebered that he carried the mail around in a buggy attached to an old gray horse. He continued this employment for the rest of his life.
After his wife's death, Will never remarried. he struggled raising six children alone.They ranged in age from 20 months to 14 years.
