Dec. 27, 1874: "The following members of the Christian Church assembled themselves in a congregation on the 4th Lord's Day (and 27th day of) December 1874, Brother Brinkerhoff preaching at said point, to wit, William Templeton, George Upfold, John T. Lamb, Francis M. Dugger, Riley Quillen, Elizabeth Templeton, Rebecca Templeton, Hannah Upfold, Elmira J. Quillen, Abbie Dugger, Nancy Lamb, and Margaret Kissell, and the said congregation appointed Brothers George Upfold and J.T. Lamb as foremen of said congregation."
