About William Trowbridge
Oct 30, 1919 - Carroll Times - William Trowbridge, whose serious illness was mentioned in last week's Times, died at his home in San Diego, Cal., Monday afternoon. It is not known here where the funeral will be held. Death was due to pernicious anemia with which he had been troubled for the past year. Late in the summer he made a trip to Rochester with the hope of being benefited and although he was given the blood transfusion treatment it has been known for some time that he was failing. His last treatment was taken Tuesday of the past week.
Mr. Trowbridge was for many years a successful and influential Carroll business man. He was public spirited and served the county both as treasurer and supervisor. He was a member of the G.A.R. of this city and a member of the Masonic fraternity.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Blanche, Mrs. J.E. Bruner, of Frederick, S.D.; Emma, Mrs. C.O. Dawson, of Blair, Neb.; and one son, Harry, who has recently been discharged from the navy. The funeral will be held at Carroll.
