Biography
William was born in 1713. He was the son of William Utter and Anne Stone.
He married Barbara Burlingame on December 6, 1737.[1]
He then married Phebe Brown
They had two children together:
Barbara Utter, b. 16 February 1741[2]
Sarah Utter, b. 26 August 1745[3]
He passed away intestate on 4 December 1746 in Warwick, Rhode Island.[4] His widow, Phebe gave an oath that all the estate was shown.
In 1751, in the Estate account to the Town Council, Phebe is now the wife of Esek Johnson.[5] She receives money for her daughter, Barbara Utter for schooling and for maintaining her daughter Sarah.
