William Fredrick Vartorella

The Sandusky Register (Sandusky, Ohio), Apr 23, 1945:
A memorial mass was said in St. Peter’s Church, Huron, and civic memorial services were held recently a the F.F. Hinman Funeral Home, Berlin Heights, for William “Bill” F. Vartorella, killed in action somewhere in Germany, Feb. 27. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Vartorella, Berlin Heights.
“Bill” is remembered as an outstanding High School athlete and exceptional student. He was his class president and valedictorian. Prior to entering service, he was employed as an assistant in the funeral home.
