William Venables

9. William Venables, 3rd son, constable of Chester Castle, 5 Hen IV, had a grant of the fee of Goldborne and Moston, was baron of Kinderton by grant of Henry IV on his brother's attainder but settled the barony on his nephew, Hugh, son of Sir Richard.  Was with Henry IV in South Wales during Glendower's insurrection.

Married Blanche, surname unknown. 

This couple, in addition to their heir, Thomas, had sons William Venables of Ridley, Piers and John.
