There is not proof of a middle name for William Vick. William Gaston Vick was a younger generation.

to established Vick lines for the families in this section. They will be carried
forward in the second volume of this history. When further research enables
them to be linked, they will be inserted in their proper position in our

Vick Family Newsletter and in a possible revised edition of this volume.

AOt. WILLIAM VICK was born 1700-1715, possibly in North Carolina.
The date and place of his death are not known.

No land or deed records have been found in Virginia or North Carolina
that can be linked to this William Vick except for one.

County, #523, Mill Creek and Maple Branch, NC.

William m. LUCREATIA TYLER
before 1735. They had at least one child:

1. MARY, b. 1735-1745; d. not known. She m. JOSIAH HARRELSON
probably before 1765. He was the son of Joseph Harrelson. In his
will, which was filed for probate on 4 May 1822 in Horry County,
South Carolina, he names his wife, Mary, children Moses, Josiah,
John, Patience, Mary, Abegail, Susannah, Lucreasa, and Jane, along
with grandson, Hugh Harrelson. Children, surnamed HARRELSON:
1. Moses, b. 1765-1770, d. 9 April 1828 (m. Ann [ D; 2. Josiah, b.
1770, d. after 1840 (m. Mary Ann Stevens); 3. Patience; 4. John,
b. ca. 1775, d. 1854; 5. Mary; 6. Abegail; 7. Susannah; 8. Lucreasa;
9. Jane. l
