William Wallace of Failford is the son of William Wallace of Failford and his wife Janet Cathcart. On 22 April 1617 he was served as heir to his father in various lands in the barony of Kyle-Stewart, and on 23 December 1630 he was served as heir to his father in the lands of Smithstoun and others.
