William Wheeler's first wife was Susannah Drummand, whom he married about 1690 at All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. William and Susannah Wheeler had four children.

William Wheeler's second wife was Martha West, whom he married 14 November 1706 at All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. William and Martha had nine children.

William Wheeler's final will was probated on the day of his death, on 6 June 1738.

Three years after marrying, JOHN WILLIAM JR. and SUSANNAH DRUMMOND WHEELER, had their first child, son, WILLIAM, born March 08, 1693/94, Gunpowder Meeting, Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

1698 - JOHN WILLIAM JR. and SUSANNAH DRUMMOND WHEELER, had their second child, son, JOHN RICHARD, born January 02, 1698, in All Hallows Parish, which became Anne Arundel Co, MD, after the Revolutionary War. His birthplace was near the present city of Annapolis.

1701 - JOHN WILLIAM JR. and SUSANNAH DRUMMOND WHEELER, had their third child, son, SAMUEL P., born 1701, in Baltimore Co, MD. St Peter's Church was built.

1702 - JOHN WILLIAM JR. and SUSANNAH DRUMMOND WHEELER, had their fourth child, son, WESTON, born 1702.

In 1706, he bought land and called it "HOOKERS PROSPERITY."

___________________________ William Wheeler lived at All Hallows Parish, which became Anne Arundel County when counties were organized. They lived near present day Annapolis. William and Susannah had three sons before her death. After Susannah died, William married Martha West, and they had six sons and three daughters. They moved to Baltimore County, Maryland, where he patented Hookers Prosperity in 1706. Hookers Prosperity was on the north side of Patapsico River. He patented land called Wheelers Well in 1720. The land was between Gunpowder River and a branch of the Northwest Branch of the Patapisco River. After moving to Baltimore, the family was a member of St. Paul Parish, where the family information is recorded in the church registers.

In the name of God, Amen, I William Wheeler of Baltimore County, Maryland. Planter, being weak in body but of sound memory, Blessed be God, do this day of Apr ye 19th in the year one thousand seven hundred and thirty two make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following - that is to say -Imprimis I give to my son John Wheeler or his heirs the sum of one Shilling. Item - I give to my son William Wheeler my bridle and saddle. Item - I give and bequeath to my son Richard one Bible. Item - I give to my daughter Mary Murray one mare. Item - I give to my son Sam'l Wheeler one mare. Item - I give to my son Weatron Wheeler one heifer with her increase of cow calfes. Item - I give and bequath to my son William Wheeler Jun'r one mare. Item - I give to my son Moses Wheeler one two year old heifer. Item - I give to my dear wife Martha Wheeler all that messuage or tenement wherein I now live with all my lands to hold during her life, and after her decease I give the same to my son(s) Solomon and Isaac Wheeler to be equally divided between them, and their heirs lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to fall to my son Weaton and his issue. Item - I give to my dear wife all the rest of my goods chattels or estates whatsoever whereof I shall die seised in possession, reversion or remainder until my sons, Solomon and Isaac and daughters Martha and Ann Wheeler come of age then to be equally divided between them and I make and ordain her my said wife sole executrix of this my will, in trust for the intents and purposes in this my will contained in witness whereof I the said William Wheeler have this my last Will and Testament set my hand seal the day and year above written. Witnesses: Buckley Partridge, Jane Partridge, Henry (X) Williams

On June 6, 1738 Buckley Patridge and Jane Patridge, testified they witnessed the will. On June 7, 1738, Martha Wheeler was certified as executrix of the will. (3) I am descended from this individual two different ways, through his two wives. One path goes through my father and the other through my mother.
