William Willis died suddenly last Sunday at his home on North Broad street. He had apparently been as well as usual during the day and died while sitting in a chair. He was in his 80th year and had held several city offices. He was the father of Mrs. Charles M. Hattersley, and was buried on Wednesday afternoon after services at the home of his son-in-law. The interment was at Mercer Cemetery.
