Death of William Willis

William Willis, a former well-known resident of this city, died a short time ago in a Philadelphia hospital and his remains have been interred in Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Willis was an expert billiard player and of late years had been connected with an Atlantic City hotel. His fatal illness was caused by a fall.

Mr. Willis was of jovial disposition and had many friends. His father was Squire William Willis, how long occupied the dwelling on West State street which now forms a part of the building of the Trenton Trust and Safe Deposit Company. His mother, Mrs. Sarah Willis, resides with her daughter, Mrs. Charles M. Hattersley of this city.
