Henry II King of England confirmed "baroniam totam quam pater suus de me tenuit, tan in Anglia quam in Normannia" to "Willelmo Malduit filio Willelmi Mald camerarii mei" by charter dated to [Dec 1154/Aug. Chamberlain. "Comes Simon" confirmed to "Willelmo Malduit camerario domini regis et Isabelle uxori sue" the land "in Grendon…" which "comes Simon pater meus dedit Willelmo Malduit et Isabelle uxori sue in libero maritagio" by charter dated to. Military fee certifications in the Red Book of the Exchequer, in 1166, record the knight feeholders from "Willelmus Malduit camerarius" in Buckinghamshire. The Red Book of the Exchequer refers to "Willelmus Maudut, camerarius xxiii s iv d, et de novo xxxvi s viii d" in Buckinghamshire in. The Red Book of the Exchequer, listing scutage payments in [1190/91], records "Willelmus Mauduit camerarius" paying "xvii s vi d, i militem et tres partes" in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire[1180]. The Red Book of the Exchequer, listing scutage payments in, names "Willelmus Mauduit camerarius" among those granted delay in payment "per brevis" in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire.
