Delhi, July 14 — (Special) — Mrs. Willie E. Brownell, 64, died at her home in Baskin yesterday morning. Services will be held at the Mixon Baptist Church Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Ennon Boyett will officiate, and interment will be in the Union Cemetery under the direction of the Catron-Gay Funeral Home in Delhi.

She is survived by her husband, David S. Brownell; one son, David O. Brownell; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Houston, of Baskin, Mrs. James R. Sutton, of Shreveport, and Mrs. John Holman, Meridian, Miss.; two step-sons, Fife Brownell and Carl Brownell, both of Baskin; one step-daughter, Ella B. Haley, of California; five brothers, Spence Lowrey, of Start, Alvin Lowry, of Miss., Quentin [sic Swinton] Lowry, of Rayville, Edwin Lowry, of Rayville, and Estes Lowry, of Mangham; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Summers, of Rayville, Mrs. Donald Reeves, of Marion, Mrs. Lola Doss, of Miss., and Mrs. Mae Hale, of Monroe.

Other survivors include 11 grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: M. O. White, John Merryweather, Earl Dunham, Frank A. Roberts, Albert Roberts, and Jack Johnson.
