Willie W (Bill) Jones

Willie W (Bill) was the son of George Warner and Irene Inez (Viers) Jones. He was born Feb 24, 1905, in Carmen, Ok., he lived most of his adult life in Nash. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nash.
On Dec 18, 1924, he married Alberta Ackley in Cherokee, Ok. She died in 1964. He later married Marie Davis. He was a custom harvester and worked on Grant County roads before his retirement.
Services for Willie Jones 83, who died Friday in an Alva nursing home, were at 10;00 a.m., monday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Argo officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Carmen directed by Wilson Funeral Home of Pond Creek.
Survivors include his wife of Alva; two sons, Monty of Nash and Howard of Snohomish, Wash.,a daughter Glenda Norsby of Everett, Wash., a brother Dean of Clinton; a sister Ellen Stonecyther of Ventura, Calif., seven grand children and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Lee Jones on April 16, 1946 and his first wife Alberta on April 16 1964.
