Wilmer Ray Coolbaugh, 79, Brownsburg, died January 3, 2007 [at Hendricks Regional Health]. He was a farmer and then a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways for 22 years, retiring in 1989. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday January 8, 2007 at White Lick Presbyterian Church [with Joy Goehring officiating]. Survivors include wife, Dorothy Coolbaugh; sons, William (and his wife, Tammie) Coolbaugh, Jeffrey Coolbaugh, Bruce (and his wife, Melissa) Coolbaugh; daughters, Diane Coolbaugh, Lisa (and her husband, Randy) Cruz, Demaris Coolbaugh, and Rachel Coolbaugh; sisters, Alberta Klipple and Marie Schanbacher; and grandchildren, Wesley, Katie and Mitchell.

He is listed in the 1930 census as Wilbur R Coolbaugh, son of William and Anna, in Ransom Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. It was taken on April 16, 1930 and his age was listed as 3 years and 1 month making it pretty certain that it is him. The siblings listed are Mabel R, Alberta M, Walter W, Marie J and Elmer D. Ray was the youngest child at the time. His dad was a farmer. All of them including his parents were born in Pennsylvania.
