About Wilson Ermen Stevens
Wilson E. Stevens, was born September 14, 1914 in Bloomington, Idaho, the son of Erman Alexander Stevens and Ellen Mary Hayward Stevens. He married Janice Jensen on December 5, 1939, in the Logan Temple. They later made their home in Rose Park. He worked as an engineer for Union Pacific, where he went by the nickname "Little Stevie." Upon retiring, he and Janice served a mission in Nauvoo. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed dirt biking, hiking, hunting, and camping. Wilson and Janice traveled extensively.
Survived by Jim (Debbie) Stevens of Kaysville, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and sisters, Mazie and Velma. Preceded in death by wife; son, Mike; and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kaysville Eleventh Ward Chapel, 500 South Main Street. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street, and prior to the services at the church on Thursday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery.
