Biography

Winthrop Morrell was born on 20 December 1744 in Berwick, York, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Jedediah Morrell (1711–1776) and Anna Dow (1718–1761).[1]

His siblings were:

Josiah Morrill (26 December 1738 – 29 September 1832)
Abraham Morrell (26 December 1738 – abt. 11 April 1809)
Winthrop (24) married Susannah Lewis (19) (born before 24 February 1750 in Berwick; daughter of John Lewis and Sarah (Hodsdon) Lewis) on 7 November 1769 in Berwick. Their known son was Ephraim Morrell (17 January 1775 – 10 December 1840).

Winthrop died about 31 January 1837 in North Berwick, York, Maine, United States, aged about 92. He was buried in Morrell Cemetery 143, North Berwick, York County, Maine.[1]
