I received the following Geni.com message on 30 July 2018, from Rachel Spigel Goodman:
Dear Mark,
My first cousin is Ellen Spigel.
We are related on the paternal side of her family. Her maternal grandmother was Leba Hurwitz. Leba's mother was Feiga, and we are thinking that Leba's father was probably Morris. We know Wolf Hurwitz was Leba's uncle and Ellen knows from her mother that Wolf lived in PA. Ellen also knows that she is related to Rose who was Leba's sister, and also Leba's brother was Abraham whose wife was Bluma. These names were all in Ellen's mother's notes. We have been trying for the last three days or so, while Ellen visited me to reconstruct her Hurwitz family but I thought we should also see if anyone had already done it...and there they were on your tree. Hope to hear from you, and work with you to put enough on Ellen's tree that we can do a merge.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Rachel Spigel Goodman
