Obituary:

FORT WORTH - Yale Glazer, retired board chairman for Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in Fort Worth, died Wednesday at a Fort Worth nursing center. He was 80.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Robertson Mueller

Harper-Eighth Avenue. Burial will be in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery.

Mr. Glazer was born in St. Louis and had lived in Fort Worth for 75 years.He was the founder of Uncle Joe Bottling Co. in Fort Worth and he and his two brothers operated Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in Fort Worth until 1978.

Mr. Glazer was active in local civic groups and was a member of Temple Beth-El and Congregation Ahavath Sholom.

His wife, Ida Gilden Glazer, died in 1976.

The family suggests memorials be made to Temple Beth-El, Congregation Ahavath Sholom or to a charity of choice.

Survivors: Two sons, Larry Glazer and Morton Glazer, both of Dallas; brother, Marvin Glazer of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
