will dated 1726 In the name of God amen, on the 3rd of Feb Ano Dom 1724 I Morgan Evans of Nantyryhafod in the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery in the Disocess of Bangor , being of good and perfect memory , thanks be to God Almighty and remeberance of the uncertain of this transitory Life and that all flesh mush yield unto death when it pleased the God to call , do make and declared this my last will and testament in the manner and form of the following , first being pentinent and sorry for all my sins most humbly desire forgiveness for the same I commend my Soul to Almighty God my Savior and redeemer in whom and by whose merits I trust and believe assured to the last and to have final remission and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and my body Committed to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors hereinafter named, and for settling my Temporal estate and goods Chattels and Topts as it hath pleased God to bestow I give and bequeath unto MARY EVANS my poor wife the sum of twenty pounds Currant money of Great Britain , with my second horse , fourty sheep ,and half my household stuff, item I give and bequeath unto EVAN EVANS my loving son the sum of five shillings , item I give and bequeath to my grandchildren EVAN MORGAN, MARTHA AND MARY , children of my son Evan four yearling Theaves ; Item I give and bequeath to my grandchildren ANNE, MARY, JOAN, JOHN, children of WILLIAM SWANCOTT four yearling theaves, Item I give and bequeath unto JOHN THOMAS my son - in law a sum of Fifty shillings with a cow and calf; item I give and bequeath to my grandson RICHARD DAVID son of Richard David two yearling theaves ; Item my will is the legacies of the above mentioned and bequeath shall be paid by my executors herein named within a term of one year after my death . Item and bequeath all the rest of my Goods and Chattels I give and bequeath unto John Evans and Joseph Evans sole executors of this my last will [jointly?] evoking all former wills made by me .
