Yashar Architects Is the result of two generations of architectural creativity and excellence. Yashar Architects embodies Israel’s progressive building culture from the 1950’s to the present. As one of the great modern Israeli architects, Yitzhak Yashar’s presence can be seen and felt in many of Israel’s most prominent buildings such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. In 1986 Avner Yashar followed his father’s path and joined the firm. They have co-managed the firm until Yitzhak Yashar’s retirement. While keeping in line with his father’s creative inspiration, Avner Yashar carries Yashar Architect’s vision through the 21st century. In meeting the demands of the market, Yashar Architects branched into the private sector and experienced substantial growth not only in this field but in the public square as well. With a vision ahead of its time Avner Yashar decided more than ten years ago to focus on high density design. With an understanding of upward growth, Yashar had been concentrating on the planning and construction of high-rise buildings. As a result, Yashar has established himself as a leader in construction of office and residential towers. Consistent with the vision of Yashar and the needs of the global market Yashar Architects has expanded operations and is currently involved in projects throughout Russia, Ukraine, India, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary and Cyprus. Yashar takes pride in the character its projects naturally assume. A product of the Tel-Aviv influenced Bauhaus style; Yashar sees the buildings it creates not only as functional elements but as places for the people they occupy. While modern buildings may consist of outwardly industrial materials such as glass and aluminum, Yashar goes to great lengths to incorporate climate, topography and personal character into his projects. He puts an emphasize on the importance of light and shade in his buildings. As an expression of the wish to evoke a humanistic experience in all who come into contact with both their Public and Private buildings, Yashar bridges functionality with aesthetics and emotions. Yashar takes into account not only architecture but the design of the landscape as well. Yashar believes in developing a relationship not only with the building but with the area around it and with the local cultural character of those people who will enjoy Yashar’s creations. While building for the future, Yashar Architects looks to its roots for inspiration. The perseverance and creativity of its first generation lend to the diligence and creativity of Yashar Architects current designers.

אשתו הראשונה של ישר הייתה השחקנית חנה מרון, שנישאה לו אחרי שנפרדה מהשחקן יוסף ידין. במשרדו של דב כרמי, שם עבד, הכיר את תמר רפפורט, שהייתה אז צעירה יפהפיה בת 19. הרומן ביניהם נמשך עד שרפפורט נסעה לארצות הברית, שם לוהקה בין השאר לכפילתה של ריטה הייוורת

בינתיים, אחרי הפרידה מרפפורט, התחתן ישר עם הזמרת והשחקנית רמה סמסונוב. ביוני 1956 נולד בנם אבנר, כיום אדריכל נודע ובן זוגה של השחקנית רונית אלקבץ. בהמשך, התחדש הרומן עם רפפורט, ובעקבות זאת ישר ורמה התגרשו. הוא נישא לרפפורט, ולשניים נולדו שתי בנות: אילת ושולי

סיפור אהבתם של בני הזוג נמשך לסירוגין במשך כשלושים שנה עד שנפרדו. בימי כסית האמיתיים היו הולכים לשם, פוגשים את שלונסקי ואלתרמן וכל האחרים.

יצחק ישר (1920, מוסקווה - 14 בפברואר 2011) היה אדריכל ישראלי, זוכה פרס רוקח לאדריכלות ופרס רכטר

ישר נולד במוסקווה בשנת 1920 והשלים את לימודיו האקדמיים בטכניון שבחיפה. עד לשנת 1952 עבד עם האדריכל דב כרמי, והחל מאותה העת פתח משרד עצמאי. בין השנים 1958 - 1965 שיתף ישר פעולה במספר רב של פרויקטים בולטים עם האדריכל דן איתן

ישר זכה במספר פרסים למבנים שהיה שותף בתכנונם: פרס רוקח לבניין מקסיקו באוניברסיטת תל אביב אותו תיכנן עם האדריכל דן איתן, פרס רכטר לתכנון מוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות אותו תיכנן גם כן עם איתן, ופרס רוקח על דיזנגוף סנטר אותו תיכנן עם האדריכלית עליזה טולדו

בשנת 1986 הצטרף למשרד, בנו של ישר - האדריכל אבנר ישר, המנהל כיום את המשרד. ישר נפטר בגיל 91

16.02.11 – White City, יורוקם נדל"ן, נוה צדק על הים וצמח המרמן מנחמים את אדריכל אבנר ישר על מות האב. המנוח היה מייסד משרד ישר אדריכלים.

16.02.11 – נדל"ן, ACRO, צחי ארבוב, אילן קפון וזיו יעקובי מנחמים את אבנר ישר ובני ביתו על מות יקירם.

16.02.11 – אהוד סמסונוב, עמוס שמיע והעובדים באס.ג'י.אס. חברה לבניין בע"מ מנחמים את אבנר ישר על מות אביו
