Of note is a two-page memorial sketch in Yiddish of Rabbi Yitsḥaḳ Simḥah ha-Levi (Isaaac S.) Hurewitz (1868-1935), rabbi of Hartford and author of the work Yad Ha-Leṿi. He was the father-in-law of Abraham Goldstein. There is also a 14-page translation of a sermon by Rabbi Hurewitz's father, Yosef Dov ha-Leṿi Hurewitz, which he included in Hebrew in Yad Ha-Leṿi, presenting it as he had heard it from his father 40 years previously.
