Josel Muschkat was born in Belzica, Poland in 1908 to Khanokh and Khana. He was a merchant. Prior to WWII he lived in Warszawa, Poland. During the war he was in Warszawa, Poland.

Josel was murdered in the Shoah (according to this source).
