Mr. Bicandi, a Navy gunner in World War II, trained horses in the United States and Canada for 45 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gayanne, at home; three daughters, Lisa Allen and Deanne Hermann, both of Ridgefield, and Shelley Fox of Vancouver; two sons, Ray of Homedale, Idaho, and Mitch of Spokane; one brother, Tony of Solvang, Calif.; two sisters, Ramona Aberasturi and Josie Johnson, both of Homedale; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral was this afternoon at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with burial at Northwood Park Cemetery.
