Zachariah Alden was born about 18 February 1672 in the Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony to John Alden and Elisabeth (Phillips) Alden. He is the brother of Mary Alden [half], John Alden, Elizabeth Alden, John Alden, William Alden, Elizabeth (Alden) Willard, William Alden, Zachary Alden, Nathaniel Alden, William Alden, Sarah Alden, Nathan Alden, Sarah Alden and Jonathan Alden. He married Mary (Viall) Alden on the 13th January, 1700 in Massachusetts. He is the ather of Anna Alden, Zachariah Alden and Mary (Alden) Kneeland. Zechariah died on the 18th of August 1709 in the Province of Massachusetts Bay.

Biography
Zachariah Alden was the eleventh child of John Alden, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Phillips Everill Alden. He was born February 18,1672 at Boston, Massachusetts. He was baptized at the Old South Church of Boston on February 23, 1672. He married on January 13, 1700 Mary Viall. She was the daughter of John Viall and his wife Mary (Williams) Viall. The Aldens had three children: Zachariah, Mary, and Elizabeth.
Zachariah graduated from Harvard College in 1692. He was apparently a mariner by profession, as was several of his brothers. He seems to have died at sea. His estate was declared insolvent.
