MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 6 Zachariah was the ninth of the eleven children born to Zachariah and Frances Snow (Blackard) Allen.
He married Eliza Ann Wilson, daughter of Samuel P. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Douglass) Wilson, on 1 January 1867 in Hamilton County, Illinois. Eight children were born to them: Ewing, Rhoda, Florence, Samuel, Anna, Loomis, Harry and Rosa.
Throughout his life, Zachariah made his living as a farmer.
He died on 10 March 1908, survived by his wife and three children (Rhoda, Florence and Harry).
