Zalman Leib (Leopold) Schwartz

Leopold Schwartz was drafted into the Austro-Hungarian Army in WWI. He may have been killed in combat between 1915 and 1916, though his son (Martin) said in his Shoah interview that his father died in August 1914.

His marriage record says he was born in November 1884. There was a Zalman Leb Schwartz born to a Majer and Dvojra on November 29, 1885. I wonder whether that is the actual date on which he was born, but there are two problem: (1) Dvojra's surname is listed as Traub, but that is the surname of the wife of Majer's brother Asher, so maybe that was a mix-up; and (2) a note on the record indicates that Zalman Leb died in 1895, though I haven't seen any record to support it.
