About Zyskind Lejb Sajeta
SURA (SORA) ZLATA SAWETMAN was married to ZYSKIND LEJB SAJETA on June 13 1866 in Czyzewo. The religious marriage took place at 10 am and was registered the same day. It was performed by Lejzor Pay, the assistant rabbi of Czyzew. The groom Zyskind Lejb was a bachelor age 19 and the son of Perec Jankielowicz [=son of Jankiel] and Touba Zyskowna [=daughter of Zysko], “legitimate Sajeta spouses,” occupations bakers. He was living with his parents in Zambrow. The bride Sura Zlata was a maiden age 17, the daughter of Fajba and Szejna Reiza Aronowna [=daughter of Aron], “legitimate Sawetman spouses,” laborers. She was living with her parents in Czyzew, where she was born. The marriage was preceded by 3 banns (announcements) posted a week apart in the synagogues in both Zambrow and Czyzew.
Their daughter Chaja Fruma was born on June 20 1867 and it was registered on June 28, written in Polish. Her father was Zyskind Lejba Perecowicz [=son of Perec] Sajeta, a blacksmith age 21, and her mother was Sora Zlata Fajbowna [=daughter of Fajba], age 19. I obtained a scan from Emil Krasnodebski, a professional genealogist, historian, and researcher based in Warsaw. It is Akt 23, 1867 Zambrow Births, Lomza Gubernia, located in Fond 174 of the Bialystok Archive, Lomza Branch of the Polish State Archives--posted here.
According to the death record of Sora-Zlata Sajeta, she died on February 5 1904 in Zambrow and left behind her widowed husband ZYSKIND LEIBA SAJETA. The record is posted here, downloaded directly from the website of the Polish State Archives. I can't find any later references to Zyskind.
