catherine mcdougall

I was born in 1879, my brother dougall was born in 1877, annd my sister jessie was born in 1881, we were all illegitimate. our mother was mary ann kane.

in 1881 census we were living at 30 govanhill street govan, with john mcdougall, cab driver.

In 1891 census we were living in thistle street glasgow. my brother dougal was 14 years old and a van boy, myself and jessie were at school, our surname was mcdougall, I don't think my mother and john married. there was 4 other children born to my mother and john, mary ann aged 9 years, john 6 years, duncan 3 years, and christina 1 year old.

in 1901 census my mother and john were living at 13 spring lane glasgow, I was now married to robert paul, he must have been away somewhere, as he is not living here at the time of the census, I was a fish curer, mary ann was a waitress, john was a fish curer,duncan was a message boy and christina was still at school.
