Père Anselme says that “on attribue au roy Louis le Jeune un fils naturel nommé Philippe, doyen de S. Martin de Tours, mort avant son père”, adding that “on prétend que c’est à lui à qui saint Bernard adresse sa lettre 151”[504]. Anselme provides no information about the identity of “on” and his phrasing suggests little confidence in the accuracy of the attribution.]
