DAVID Sviatoslavich (-Jan 1123). The Primary Chronicle names David, son of Sviatoslav, recording that he left Novgorod for Smolensk "toward the close of the year" 1095. Prince of Novgorod. He was installed as Prince of Smolensk 1094. Under the family accord at Liubech 1097, he became Prince of Chernigov. m FEODOSIA, daughter of ---. Baumgarten records her marriage and cites a primary source in support. David & his wife had five children. ______________________________________________________
