According to Orisis Johnson, "Ancestors of Oriris Merlin Johnson" Priscilla was a descendant of Sir Edward Colby. She was a London Company Settler, Jamestown, Va. Order Book states; "reference is granted between Capt. George Purvis, plantiff, and Mr. Henry Tandy as marrying the relict of John Watson, defendant, till the said Captain Purvis next arrival into this colony". Priscilla must have been 6 or 7 years senior to Henry Tandy since her son, John, was born in 1671 according to his deposition on Jan 10, 1694 in court."
