About wife of Ivan Aleksandrovich
Biography
From Russian Wikipedia google translate, 23 December 2022.
Ivan Alexandrovich, Grand Duke of Ryazan, ruled after the expulsion of Ivan Korotopol from Pereyaslavl-Ryazansky by Yaroslav Alexandrovich Pronsky in 1342 or at least with the death of Yaroslav Alexandrovich in 1344 (in Pronsk). He was the son of Prince Alexander Yaroslavich of Ryazan (not Ivan Korotopol - that’s an old error).
We don’t know the name of his wife.
They had two known children:
- Oleg, Grand Duke of Ryazan (1349-1402). First wife unknown, second wife: Efrosinya (Evpraksia) of Lithuania (died December 5, 1404).
- Anastasia. Married the Tatar Murza Salahmir in 1371, who was baptized with the name of Ivan Miroslavich. He received the title of Ryazan boyar, having received Venev, Rostovets, Verkhderev, Mikhailovo Pole and Bezputsky Stan in his dowry. The importance of Salahmir at the court of the Ryazan prince can be judged by the following expression: “Yaz, Grand Duke Oleg Ivanovich, talking to his son-in-law with Ivan Miroslavovich...”
